Welcome to Plane
Heritage.
So who are
we? Formed in 2007 and born from the restoration to
airworthy condition of a WWII Piper L4 Grasshopper,
Plane Heritage is a small but dedicated group of people
passionate about old aeroplanes and keeping them flying.
Here at Plane Heritage we believe these aircraft belong
in the sky, not in a museum. Those are for rocks and
paintings!
Our aim
over the next few years is to build Plane Heritage into
a centre of excellence for the restoration, maintenance
and operation of classic aircraft and we want you to be
able to experience the excitement and thrill of flight
in these fantastic examples of the aircraft that paved
the way for modern air travel as we know it today.
We happen
to believe however, that flying was much more fun when
you could feel the wind in your hair and hear the wind
in the wires, but then we're sure that anyone who has
flown in these aircraft would agree!
We hope to
be flying with you soon
